If you've been paying attention, you'll be aware that I'm going to End Of The Road festival this Summer and mightily looking forward to it. A week ago, the final headliner slot was announced and - despite my best efforts - I couldn't pluck that one from the stars in my soothsayer post just a few days earlier. The magnificent Joanna Newsom will be the one to join Beirut and Mogwai as the final headliner.
Last year, I compiled a Spotify playlist of all the albums from all the acts and it certainly helped me get familiar with some of the lesser known names. In a slight deviation from our regular Friday mixtape, I've done the same for this year's confirmed bands. I will continue to add artists' discographies as they are announced in the run up to September. All you have to do is subscribe, hit shuffle and acquaint yourself with your next favourite summer sound.
