Bleep - Warp Record's online retail site - has just published a
pretty nifty mix up on Mixcloud.
Mixcloud is a fantastic utility that essentially allows music lovers to create and share playlists, podcosts or DJ mixes. All of the mixes are then filed neatly in to their online
library, allowing users to browse quality, free radio-shows at the click of a button. The streaming quality seems to be OK, and the interface makes for an enjoyable user experience. I'm certain I'll be exploring Mixcloud more in the near future, for personal and Skies Are Rare related purposes.
The mix in question clocks in at around 45 minutes and is a nice blend of house, dubstep and generally 'Warp-esque' music. Stuck for a playlist at your weekly Tuesday evening wine & cheese book club? Stick this on and you'll be the talking point of the entire WI! Mixcloud have also spent time developing a fairly substantial embedded div element for sharing; check out this monster!:
